AI Fluency for pK-12 Train the Trainer is a free course from Anthropic, made with the American Federation of Teachers, that gives educators working from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade a ready-to-run workshop for teaching AI fluency to their colleagues. After a short orientation, the course hands you the kit: a 50-slide workshop deck, a facilitator guide built into the deck's speaker notes that covers what to say and how to set up each activity, and a fillable workbook for the people you train. The workshop takes colleagues through the 4D framework — how to work with AI, and whether and how much to use it — with exercises sorted by grade band and prompts for discussion. The workbook moves participants through a warm-up reflection, practice writing prompts, a checklist for judging AI output, a matrix that sorts tasks by their impact and by how risky they are to hand to AI, and a commitment to one real task. All three pieces can be downloaded as PDF or HTML files, and the materials are released under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. The course itself takes about 45 minutes across four lessons.
